It’s that time of the year again where we are honoring our mothers. The women that brought us to life and have been everything to us since day one. There is nothing in this world like a mother’s love for her child. Her love is unconditional and in this one day she is remembered, so show her some love by spoiling her and make sure she feels as special as she truly is! Ever since I moved to Melbourne I’ve wanted to visit the Old Melbourne Gaol! One of Melbourne’s oldest architectural buildings right at the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, situated on Russell Street, only minutes’ walk from the train station and one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions. Our experience at the Old Gaol started by getting arrested at the 1900s City Watch House. The Watch House Experience lasted for approximately half an hour, one of the most interactive and engaging experiences I’ve had in a museum. We had a female Charge Sergeant as a guide, who made the whole experience so real. We…

For anyone who loves stand-up comedy, the yearly Melbourne International Comedy Festival is on!! This year’s larger line up includes Arj Barker, Jason Byrne, Ruby Wax, Jimeoin, Bob Franklin, Cal Wilson, Claire Hooper, Frank Woodley, Judith Lucy, Denise Scott and Rove McManus. In the smaller venues you will find independent shows of international and local performers, with over 500 shows in just four weeks. This was my first experience at the comedy show and I absolutely loved it. We watched Arj Barker – Organic. His performance was good leaving the audience in applause, but to be honest I think he’s had better performances in the past.…

It all started at our accommodation, The Big Yarra View, a stunning large property sitting on 55 acres, at the heart of the Coldstream, near the Yarra Valley. Ben and I stayed at the property with the bridal party the night before, but at different sections of the house. The girls and myself were up by 3am, jumping in the shower to start getting ready for the big day, as the make-up artist, the absolute…

Being still on festive holidays and not much to do, we decided to head to Arthur’s Seat. Got to love those spontaneous adventure days. The place was extremely busy so we ended up parking a little far and went to a bit of a hike. The queue to get on the Eagle carriers was enormous, but it’s school holidays and the place has only just opened in December. Arthur’s Seat is in Dromana, Mornington Peninsula, approximately an hour from Melbourne CBD, 75km. The view is spectacular and breathtaking as you soar above the trees and looking over to the bay. The…
