My first Sigma Beauty delivery arrived late last week. I purchased their brow kit, one of the eye-shadow pallets and the brush washing glove from their website as they had sales on. This was my first purchase with them online and I wasn’t too sure what to expect.
I started getting a little worried when I wasn’t able to track my order after 2 weeks of purchase, considering the website stated 5-10 business days delivery. I contacted customer service and they advised me that international orders are non-trackable and take longer. I was a little disappointed that this wasn’t made clear on their site but their customer service was pretty good and my order did finally arrive after 4 weeks (lol).
The packaging was beautiful and so were the products. I’ve tried all products purchased already. The Sigma Eye shadow Palette – Brilliant and Spellbinding, the palette itself is in cardboard material with a decent size mirror and magnetic closure. Over all love the packaging, it’s slim, yet it doesn’t feel cheap and it’s travel friendly.
It contains 12 powder shades in which 4 are matte and the rest are in different finishes. The colour selection is neutral and warm. I had no trouble getting an average-sized eye-shadow brush into each pan, and the quality of the palette was good. The Sigma Beauty’s eye-shadows formula tends to require eye-shadow primer to adhere and last awhile, but I could apply and get something decent without primer on these. The consistency was decent, there were a few sparkly bits that broke up by otherwise smooth feel of the powder. It had good colour payoff, good pigmentation with a soft, lightly dry texture but was fine once blended and lasted for approximately seven hours on me. Over all it’s worth the price.
I’ve tried a few different brow kits and the Brow Expert Kit by Sigma Beauty was pretty good, however L’oreal – Brow Artist Genius Kit is still my favourite. The Sigma brow kit includes: E75 – Angled Brow & E80 – Brow & Lash dual-ended brush, Expert Trim (scissors), Sharpener, Expert Tweezer, Brow Powder Duo, Brow Highlight Duo, Brow Wax.
Lastly, I purchased the Sigma Spa Express Brush Cleaning Glove. I wish I purchased the full size of this but I guess I just wanted to try it first. It is just as brilliant as described by most make up artists on YouTube or bloggers.
